Capital City Bassmaster’s very own Dylan Fogarty took to the waters of Clarks Hill Reservoir in Evans, GA on his quest to qualify for the Bassmaster Elites series. After 2 days of chilly practice, Dylan was boat #159 to launch on day 1, and found success pretty quickly. By the end of the day, he had 19-6lbs in the bag finding himself sitting in seventh place. This would ultimately put a camera guy on his boat for the shortened 2 day event. The weather was not cooperating with a chilly morning causing a bit of trouble, with Dylan’s live-well being frozen shut. Once that was fixed, Dylan was able to hit the water running. The bite tightened up a bit, but Dylan was still able to score big and finish seventeenth in his first ever St. Croix Bassmaster Open!
